I had a feeling that the coalition government’s green light for universities to increase UK tuition fees may lead to an exodus of students abroad. These newspaper articles suggest that studying abroad could be the way for students to differentiate themselves in a crowded marketplace.  This is worrying as  this will bring a new level of disadvantage to students who are unable to travel abroad to gain a prestigious degree abroad!
